CT Town Employee Caught Placing Fecal Matter Under Town Hall Door, Police Say

A Connecticut man has been charged with breach of peace and criminal mischief after allegedly placing fecal matter under a door at a town hall.

Litchfield County resident Christopher Jordano, age 40, of North Canaan was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 6, for the incident that took place in July at the North Canaan Town Hall.

According to Connecticut State Police, Jordano allegedly entered the Town Hall building and placed what appeared to be fecal matter underneath a secured office door. 

A Town Hall employee, Jordano was captured by security cameras on the premises, state police said.

Based upon information obtained during the investigation that followed, which included a review of town hall security camera footage, an arrest warrant for Jordano was applied for and granted.

He was charged with: 

  • Breach of peace
  • Criminal mischief
  • Reckless endangerment

Jordano was held on a $50,000 cash/surety bond.
